We have an excellent fully licensed facility at the club which is used during the season to entertain our visitors and members. The pavilion boasts two bars which can be fully staffed as necessary.

The pavilion naturally looks out over the main cricket field where there is an extensive grass wicket as well as an artificial strip. We also have the added benefit of a second playing area which we share with our neighbours, Ullswater Community College. This is located to the rear of the clubhouse. That second area consists of an artificial wicket installed in May 2007 and now has a portacabin changing facility with running water and a power supply. There is also a second portacabin which is used for scorers and for storage of cricket equipment. This pitch is used extensively by all our junior teams, 3rd and 4th team plus our neighbours at Ullswater Community College who use the pitch for their inter school cricket fixtures.

Practice facilities at the Club have also been dramatically improved in recent seasons with three permanent artificial nets erected towards the bottom of the ground. These are used on club nights but also see use by many junior members at all times of every day and evening - rain does not seem to stop them and only complete darkness drives them to their homes. Our commitment to opening these facilities to cricket players of all abilities can enjoy the facilities at Penrith Cricket Club and with practice we may just uncover the next Joe Root or Ben Stokes!

The main club rooms can be hired out for all types of functions and events - including christenings, weddings, funerals, anniversary's, birthday parties or meetings and conferences and having two bars enables us to allow hirers the privacy of their own function venue. The Club is a popular venue for functions within the town and is the home of a number of activity clubs who visit us regularly.
